He was right from the beginning: Bashar al-Assad about ISIS in Syria!
Backing rebel groups in Syrian conflict has backfired! We all know that important forces of the opposition are now part of ISIS forces in Syria.
Bashar said many times that most of them are extremists! We didn’t believe him… but was he right?
European countries, including Britain, are changing their minds about Syria.
“Deep in their hearts they know that what they did is a grave crime against the people of Syria. Thinking that the regime would fall in a few weeks [in 2011] has led to the flourishing of terrorism inside Syria and threatening the national security of other countries. They have started to understand that what is happening in Syria is not a revolution but a threat to Europe.” (Faisal Mekdad – Syrian Foreign Minister)
