Great nostalgic story, as my dad once said” you spend 16 years getting of the farm and the rest of your life trying to get back on”. He was one of 13 children, raised in the state of Maine, and passed down the family way of life to his kids in which we “enjoyed” the outhouse and a wood cook stove yet we did have electricity. No TV, too far from the city’s broadcast antennas. I passed this heritage on to my kids, minus the outhouse!
