Many gay marriage advocates wish Larry would shut his mouth. His message undercuts the image of being “gay and blissful.” Folks are uncomfortable adding unsavory elements like this to the conversation.
Do you think lawyers who presented arguments to the Supreme Court included the following?
“Chief Justice Roberts and esteemed members of the Court, while you will hear our efforts to persuade you to legalize gay marriage today, we must be mindful of serious, elevated health risks the gay lifestyle brings to multitudes. We must be responsible to examine medical data carefully … .”

Last year Entertainment Weekly magazine highlighted the “most important, infuriating, heartbreaking movie of the year,” Normal Heart, Larry Kramer’s story. They cited chilling stats:

I think that anyone engaging in unsafe sex is at risk for infections. The fact that many bisexuals have a girlfriend AND a secret gay lover raises this risk as well. When a closet case individual goes out and has sex mostly discretely, they usually are driven by hormones and forget or rather disregard using protection.
Along with all of that, trying to find another guy who will be “monogamous” is very hard to do. I think one other reason that straight people might live longer is because they are obligated to do so because they usually wind up as parents and are inclined to take care of their kids.
Being gay has indeed been rough for me but I think education on safer sexual practices as well as appropriate sexual behavior needs to be addressed and seriously thought about.
Don’t let KOS make you feel bad about yourself. He is a complete fruitcake with no tolerance for others. He should be institutionalized.

I think the reason why most gays are like this is because of the mass exposure from propaganda along with not enough exposure to the truth when young. I grew up in a Christian based family and managed to adopt some morals but STILL I wound up gay.
I will admit that being gay ISN’T box of chocolates and many gay men wind up VERY sad and alone. I’ll just say that I am aware of the bad parts of how most gay people have been brainwashed but a few are not, like me.
