Phony Jeb caught forging heritage to win Hispanic votes
As he gears up to run for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, Jeb Bush resigned from all of his corporate and non-profit board member positions. He has reportedly been working with a personal trainer, dropping pounds before making his announcement.
But weight isn’t all he’s dropped. His ethnicity is apparently as big a burden as his formerly bulging belly.
Though Jeb Bush speaks Spanish fluently, has a Mexican-born wife, lived in Venezuela for two years, and is a Catholic convert —- he is not Hispanic. Ethnicity is not an interchangeable commodity, but he is apparently so deeply enmeshed in Hispanic culture, he forgot his parents George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush are both bona fide blue-blooded WASPs. Barbara’s ancestors include an early colonist and Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States.
The New York Times obtained Jeb Bush’s 2009 Florida voter registration form that shows he marked ‘Hispanic’ in the field labeled “race/ethnicity.”
Bush received 61 percent of the Hispanic vote in 1998 when he became governor of Florida and nearly as many when he ran for re-election in 2002. But as a pro-amnesty candidate who also supports Common Core, Bush will not appeal to conservatives regardless of what ethnicity he selects on any given day.
In 2012, Democrat Elizabeth Warren ran for a U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts professing to be a Native American —- using recipes copied from the Pow Wow Chow Cookbook in an attempt to substantiate her claim. The easily duped liberals of Massachusetts apparently didn’t care. They elected her anyway.
Will Republicans be as gullible?
I, as an American, have disdain towards anything of a kingly or a dynastic nature.
One kennedy was enough.
One clinton was more than the country needed.
Two Bushes were more than what the country needed – one rode on Reagan’s coatails, the other on the bush name.
One Obama/Soetero should have never been given the chance. Now his wife Michael thinks hesheit can do a better job?
