A Williamston man was shot and killed Saturday night after police say he forced his way into a home.
Williamston police say Markese Lee was shot during an exchange of gunfire with the resident inside. Family members say the 22-year-old was hit multiple times.
Police say the burglary does not appear to be random, but that the home at 516 Warren Street was targeted.
