Read Orange County Sheriff’s response to gun rights groups on permit applications

After reversing her policy to call for further “good cause” justification for pending concealed carry permit holders, Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens agreed to process 1,700 applications currently in limbo under a less strict standard after pressure from the National Rifle Association and California State Rifle and Pistol Association.
