In an insightful dialogue with Breitbart News, recently declared GOP Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) focuses on assaults to religious liberty. He notes the modern Democrat Party is “so radicalized and so extreme” that it won’t stand up for the most basic tenets of the U.S. Constitution, including religious liberty as afforded by the First Amendment.
This exclusive interview needs to be read. The 2016 presidential election is rapidly approaching. Candidate interviews such as this provide us with the necessary information we need to make informed decisions. No candidate —- or the ultimate nominee —- will meet each of our standards, but we are living in perilous times and need solid leadership. After living through the Obama regime it’s obvious that must be provided by a Republican. Whether that person is Ted Cruz or someone else, this is the time to glean facts.
Readers of this site might recall the September 2012 post titled “Chaos reigns as Dems boo God, Jeer Jerusalem,” during their national convention. It’s worth reviewing and watching the accompanying video detailing the mockery of what most Americans view as fundamental. It was not an occasional radical liberal delegate who jeered and booed the mention of God. It was a clear majority. The resulting embarrassment of the party leadership required them to take a recount. They needed three! They also fudged the results.
Sen. Ted Cruz correctly defines the shallowness of today’s Democrat Party.
