(Before It's News)

Here are ten cool places we would like to visit but unfortunately cannot for various reasons:

10. Svalbard Global Seed Vault

Svalbard Global Seed Vault

This vault was built out of fear that all those sci-fi scenarios about the end of the world may actually come true. It was built on a secluded island in the North Sea and is home to over 250 million crop seeds shipped from gene bank worldwide with an estimated cost exceeding $9 million. You can’t enter the vault but researchers, plant breeders and other groups can request seeds from the depositing genebanks. If you were to enter, you would see the biggest hope for agriculture in the event of a polar ice car melt or similar earthly disaster.

9. Mezhgorye

Mezgorye

Mezhgorye is a closed military town that is located at the foot of Mount Yamantau, believed by the United States to be a large secret nuclear facility owned by the Russians. When questioned, the Russians give inconsistent answers like, it’s a mining site, no, it’s a treasury, no, a food storage area and they finally they admit, it is a nuclear bunker. The bunker was built in the event of an apocalyptic war. It is believed to house nuclear weapons and as much as we want to visit it to inspect, we are not allowed. Russian newspapers claim it to be a part of the Dead Hand initiative.

8. Woomera Prohibited Area

woomera

An Australian military testing range covering nearly 124,000 square kilometres and although the area is restricted, the nearby town of Woomera is open to the public. You’ll want to go there for one very specific reason – also want to stay away from another – it is highly prospective, significant quantities of minable gold, iron ore, opals and uranium that the general populace cannot reach. Due to the amount of unlaunched war material lying around though, it is basically a minefield. So even if you could get around the military presence to mine, chances are you’ll get your face blow off.

7. Jiangsu National Security Education Museum

Jiangsu National Secret Education Museum

This is basically the real-life James Bond exhibit – top secret documents and gadgets from the history of Chinese espionage. It includes things like guns disguised as lipstick, hollowed-out coins to conceal documents and maps hidden in decks of cards. The only people who are allowed to enter are Chinese nationals. Others are not permitted because the Chinese government does not trust foreigners with their sensitive spy information.

6. Club 33

Club-33

This is a private club located in Disneyland that costs $40,000 for membership and $10,000 in yearly costs. The reason for such high costs is because it’s a secret backdoor Disneyland but with a liquor license and 14-year waiting list, props from Disney films everywhere, animatronics and the like. You also get complimentary valet parking. You would enter the club by buzzing an intercom concealed in a hiddenpanel in the door way. You then take the antique-style glass elevator to any of the two giant dining rooms.

5. White Gentleman’s Club

Prince Charles

The club was established in 1693 and is exclusive for British men. Its notable members include Prince Charles, Prince William and the British Prime Minister David Cameron. For centuries, a famous betting book has seen notable figures gambling on not just sports, but political developments, such as the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. Unfortunately, women are denied membership and not allowed.

  • The Disney backroom has more than 1 payment system, albeit it less known for “reasons”. It costs several million, and you have to be part of their special group. It also involves children, and is in their lower floors.
