(Before It's News)

war-on-drugsOperation Rockfish. That is the name of the FBI sting operation that, after 2 years, rained down a scathing set of indictments with over 50 charges ranging from “attempted” extortion, “attempted” possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, money laundering, federal programs bribery, and use and carry of firearms during and in relation to crimes of violence and drug trafficking offenses. Of the 15 people indicted, 13 of them are current or former officers of the law. The sting revealed that the officers had planned to transport were to transport drugs along I-95, from South Carolina up to Maryland. The FBI revealed that the people involved were actually transporting fake drugs, but it’s unclear just how the members of the FBI were able to fool these people into thinking they were actual drug dealers with actual drugs, but it is very reminiscent of how the FBI creates and then bust it’s own terror plots. These weren’t thought to be harmless “drugs” like marijuana or psilocybin mushrooms, no, these cops thought they were transporting cocaine and heroin, which with the rise of heroin overdoses throughout the country, must be big bucks at the expense the people consuming these drugs, who can then later go on to be arrested as a source of profit through the war on drugs.

The people involved in the sting are as follows:
Deputy Ikeisha Jacobs, age 32;
Deputy Jason Boone, age 29;
Deputy Jimmy Pair Jr., age 48;
Deputy Curtis Boone, age 31;
Deputy Thomas Jefferson Allen II, age 37;
911 Dispatch Operator Tosha Dailey, age 31; and
Deputy Wardie Vincent Jr., age 35, and Deputy Cory Jackson, age 43, both formerly of the county’s Sheriff’s Office.
Additionally, 31-year-old Antonio Tillmon, a current member of the Windsor Police Department, was indicted.
Other indictments include:
Lann Tjuan Clanton, 36, a correctional officer with the Virginia Department of Corrections and former Weldon police officer;
Adrienne Moody, 39, a correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety;
Alaina Kamling, 27, a correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety;
Kavon Phillips, 25, a correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety;
Crystal Pierce, 31, of Raleigh; and
Alphonso Ponton, 42, a correctional officer with the Virginia Department of Corrections.
