Video - This short video follows the incredible life of an elephant that was held in chains, beaten and abused for fifty years, with an amazing finale where he is released to freedom.
The rescue team found Raju the elephant bleeding from spiked shackles and living on hand-outs from passing tourists. The animal cried tears of joy after he was rescued by a wildlife charity in a daring midnight operation.
