Today, the Oath Keepers got word of a stay issued by a judge of the Interior Board of Land Appeals (IBLA) in the case of the BLM V Sugar Pine Mine. While we have not actually seen this stay, nor have the miners or their attorney, Co-Ordinator Joseph Rice met with Sheriff Dave Daniel and the under-sheriff at which time he confirmed the documents.
While the Oath Keepers are cautiously calling this a win, we want the public to remember that a piece of paper has not been enough to stop the BLM in other cases. We must see this through to the end. Until the miners have their day in court, this is not over.
At this time, security personnel are standing down. The encampments will be partially dismantled, but enough will be left to allow for quick action in the event of illegal BLM activity.
The Oath Keepers thank their partners in this operation, members of the Idaho and Oregon III%, OrTac, Central Oregon Constitutional Guard, Heirs of Patrick Henry, OGR Supply Railroad, Patriot Supply Railroad and Patriot Railroad. We also thank the many other patriot groups who stood by us, the countless volunteers who stood up and said NO…WE KEEP OUR RIGHTS! Stay awake friends.
