Charles Harvey Eccleston, a former employee at the dept and independent Nuclear Regulatory Commission, was arrested following an undercover FBI operation. The sting was launched after Eccleston entered a foreign embassy and offered to provide classified information he claimed had been obtained from the Energy Department, according to the indictment.
