When Graham Hancock published “Fingerprints of the Gods” in 1995, it was a smashing success. It sold more than 3 million copies, and was eventually translated into 27 different languages. His book presents the theory that our ancient predecessors are descended from a previously advanced, global civilization that was wiped out by natural forces. The survivors of this nation spread across the globe and shared their knowledge with several primitive societies, who would eventually become the sophisticated ancient civilizations of our ancestors.
Despite the success of the book, it was largely panned by the scientific community. They criticized many of his theories for lacking any significant evidence. However, his belief that this advanced civilization was destroyed by a comet may have some scientific proof after all.
Now Hancock is writing a sequel to his book titled “Magicians of the God’s” that he hopes will set the record straight. Armed with new evidence from geological and geophysics journals, he claims he can prove that a comet struck Antarctica 12,800 years ago, a fact that he suggests was missing because the comet struck ice, and left no crater. “In 1995, I wrote a book about all the clues — the fingerprints — that pointed to the existence of this lost civilisation…But what I lacked was a smoking gun. Now we have it.” His sequel is scheduled to be published in September.

I know it is exceptionally hard for most to understand this, but the catastrophe which struck earth in 2348 BC, according to the Book of Jasher, was not a comet; ( comets were ejected from earth at this time and periodically return to our vicinity; ) but a Flood.
Thus there was an advanced civilization on earth at that time; and yes, they did impart their knowledge to the ancients.
They were destroyed from off the face of the earth not by a random occurrence, but by the predeterminate foreknowledge of the God Who created both them, and us; and to Whom we must all give account.
“But I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of Judgement.”
Which, for the avoidance of doubt, fast approaches.
