Is Reality an Illusion?

Many of us already believe, thanks to the Holographic Principle, that the reality we live in could all really be an optic illusion. However, many are still impressed by more drastic explanations of our consciousness. One such theory is that we create our own reality. That we have the power to attract ourselves to certain events, steer clear of others, or accept some when it seems that there is no choice. We build the things around us using the processing power of our brain. In short, this take on reality purports the mind as the ultimate sensorial organ of all.
