If you or I were caught doing the same things a Fannin County, Georgia sheriff’s deputy was caught doing, we could expect, at the very least, a hefty ransom demand (traffic ticket). Apparently having a special costume and a shiny badge means you can get away with things that the rest of us can’t.
An anonymous CopBlock submitter recorded the above video last Friday, May 1st, in Fannin County, Georgia. In the video, you can see the Georgia cop driving at speeds well over 90 miles per hour, and at times (:48 – 1:26) aggressively tailgating another driver dangerously closely. And neither his sirens nor his lights were on at any point.
Unfortunately, the submitter who captured the video was never able to catch up to the lawless cop to find out what reason he had for driving so dangerously.
Call the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 632-2045 and ask them why their deputies are allowed to do the same types of things that they would gladly bust ordinary motorists for.
This video was sent to us via the CopBlock.org Submit tab.
