Although a plethora of studies have been released linking the use of certain pesticides with human health concerns like infertility, cancer, birth defects, and ADHD, many consumers are still wary of the cost that comes with purchasing organic food.

Why buy organic when one can buy conventionally-grown for half to 1/3 less of the price?Because if one is consuming conventionally grown foods on a regular basis, they are likely ingesting a number of insecticides, fungicides, and plant growth hormones.

Such was the case for this Swedish family, who agreed to partake in a study conducted by the Swedish Environmental Research Institute IVL. To determine the effects eating only organic food can have on the body, this family of five agreed to remove all pesticide-containing food from their diets for two weeks – and what resulted is astounding!
