Almost ALL speaker in a box sets will dissapoint. That reciever is an excellent choice (but then again i am a HK fanboy). I would recomend looking at a pair of Infinty reference bookshelf speakers,
TaylorMade Speedblade Irons, and then get the surrounds and center channel as a group.
