Friends of Article V and the Convention of States Project, today on this solemn Memorial Day, we have a hearing scheduled for 8am Central Time with the Senate State Affairs Committee.
We believe that today is a significant day for this hearing.
Everyone wants a chance to do something heroic. A hero is born when someone acts in the best interests of others over self. Memorial Day is not about our own pleasure, but about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation on behalf of liberty and protecting the values we hold dear. Our thoughts today–even during the committee hearing are with the families of those who sacrificed all for America.
It took men and women of courage, conviction and great faith to build this nation–and the same for those who protect it. It will take the same to restore her. It seems fitting that on this solemn day, we get to stand up and fight for the Constitutional restoration of our nation on the very day we honor the fallen who did the same.
CALL THE SENATE STATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEMBERS TODAY. BE NICE! BE RESPECTFUL. OUR CALLS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE–IT HELPED US SECURE A HEARING TODAY.
