The US Nuclear Arsenal Is Extremely Vulnerable
In an interview with Epoch Times, Richard Fisher, member of the International Assessment and Strategy Center think tank, revealed how vulnerable America’s nuclear arsenal is to our enemies. The crux of the problem, is that our ICBM’s haven’t moved since the end of the cold war. There were plans to create mobile systems that could better disguise our nukes, which were ignored as we tried to reduce our arsenal. As of now, the locations of most of our silos can be identified on Google Maps.
Contrast that with China, where most of their nukes are thoroughly hidden, and you have a recipe for disaster. We’re rapidly approaching a scenario where mutually assured destruction is not so assured, which increases the chances of nuclear war. “If you look at new Chinese bases, it is quite easy to conclude that China is building up to the capability to preemptively strike our ICBM fields” Fisher said. He also added, that we may fall victim to “strategic blackmail” where we become so outmatched, that we’d have to surrender before a war even occurs.
While America’s nuclear strategy is currently classified, previous strategies involved limited self-defensive strikes that would leave room for negotiations to prevent a full-scale nuclear war. But this leaves us vulnerable to a massive preemptive strike, which leaked documents suggest is the kind of attack China is preparing for. Read the full story at Epoch Times.

It’s the USA that is aiming for first strike. It’s an insane idea, from the same insane people. First strike is really a losing strategy, particularly for our fixed missile systems.
