TX: Resident Shoots, then Throws Object, causing critical injury

The injury was from the thrown object.
A resident in far south Fort Worth told police early Monday that he shot at a prowler who refused to leave and then threw something at him, police said.
Officers found a 42-year-old injured man at a home in the 7500 block of Trimble Drive. He was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries at John Peter Smith Hospital, officials said.
