9 Guns for any gun lover on Father’s Day
I’m a father. Many times over. And and I would be over the moon if my loving family gave me any one of these guns on Father’s day.
1. Taurus Judge
Who wouldn’t want a home defense weapon in a .410? Revolvers are reliable and this one has won over even the most skeptical in the past 5 years because it packs, as advertised, a serious one-two punch.
2. Ruger 10-22
A father and friend recently told me, “If you have one 10-22, you need to get two 10-22s.” For the father who already has two, get him another one and he can change out the stock. Make it a “sniper” weapon or foldable.
3. AK-47
The Kalashnikov is one of those guns that’s so iconic, so undeniably historic, that even every red-blooded American should have one in their gun locker. If he has an SKS, get him an AK-47—no brainer. If he has both of those, get him an AK-74, the slightly smaller version of the 47, for lack of a better explanation.
4. Barrett .50 cal.
Getting the ultimate long range shooting gun is something the serious long range marksman shooter needs. May have to do some planning on acquiring this one.
5. Glock 43
This tiny pistol is new to hit the market and makes for a great packing gun, if “dad” likes to carry concealed.
6. Caspian 1911
Assuming papa already has a single stack 1911, try out this double stack weapon made for operators, the Caspian 1911.
7. Benelli M4
The M4 Tactical Benelli shotgun is the ultimate tactical shotgun. Add in a few 00buck and 12 gauge slug rounds, and he’ll be a happy camper. Speaking of camping…
8. Desert Eagle .50
For the already-own-it-all dads, see if he can resist squealing over the RoboCop hand cannon. And if he likes to impress his friends and fellow shooters, shooting that thing on the firing line will surely turn some heads.
9. Springfield SOCOM
The old man who likes to name his guns and enjoys when ladies use a little Hoppes or RemOil instead of perfume, may love to wrap his hands around the M1A SOCOM 16. They even have them in multicam.
