Yes, this (film) teaser-trailer or (game) Proof of Concept short is from 2010, and it's a corker.
In AZUREUS RISING creator, producer and director David Weinstein has concocted something as magical and memorable as the Final Fantasy VII film Advent Children.
Personally, I just love how it 'gets on with it' and the supreme joy for this reporter is the Animation Style of the main character. It's played straight, with delicious finesse. There's no cheesy dialogue or tedious story and the sound effects are right on point; subtle yet illustrative. It's just a gorgeous trinket: a delight for the eyes and ears.
