As the manhunt is still ongoing, authorities have named a suspect in last night’s deadly shooting at a historic at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dylann Storm Roof, 21, of Lexington, South Carolina, has been identified as the shooter.
Police released a flier Thursday morning with details about Roof and his car. They describe him as 5-foot-9, 120 pounds with brownish hair and he’s driving a dark colored 2000 Hyundai Elantra GS with South Carolina plates LGF-330.
Public records show Roof was most recently arrested in March in Lexington County on drug charges, local media reports.
Police consider him armed and dangerous. They advise anyone who sees him or with information about the incident to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
