Sen. Jeff Sessions is a man of integrity. The U.S. Senator from Alabama possesses a legal background few can match. He began his career as an Assistant U S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama. Later, he was nominated by President Reagan to serve as the U.S. Attorney for Alabama’s Southern District, a position he held for 12 years. Sessions was then elected Alabama Attorney General, serving as the state’s chief legal officer until he entered the U.S. Senate in 1997. In 2014, the people of Alabama, who obviously appreciate their senator, overwhelmingly voted to return Sessions to the Senate for a fourth term, with more than 97 percent of all votes cast.
