Breaking: Russian Jets Spotted Off US Coast TWICE On 4th Of July

Fighter jets had to be scrambled multiple times after Russian bombers performed off the coast of Alaska and then came within 50 miles of California coast, it surfaced today.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command verified U.S. air defense systems were activated twice by nuclear-capable Tu-95 Bear H aircraft last week.

A spokesman explained incursions started on Monday at around 4.30pm Pacific time when radar noticed 4 bombers nearing the U.S. air defense zone near the far western Aleutian Islands.
