(Before It's News)

Dr. Kelli Ward, a two-term state senator representing Legislative District 5, sent out this encouraging message, which includes a sentence Arizona Republicans can relate to: “ The status quo and the politics of the past aren’t working for Arizona or America.”

She’s referring to the U. S. Senate seat currently occupied by John McCain.

Ward opened a U.S. Senate Exploratory Committee in April and has been traveling the state, attending gatherings and district meetings, where she meets with and answers questions posed by Arizonans. She doesn’t insult questioners. There is no ducking and dodging or holding restrictive and contrived one way “conversations as the current senator and his seatmate do.

This evening, Kelli Ward is making an official “Future Plans Announcement.”
Tuesday, July 14,  5:00 pm
Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room
1425 McCulloch Blvd
Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

The event is open to the public and all are welcome. She asks that you RSVP here.

Read Dr. Ward’s impressive bio. Her views on the issues of importance to Arizona citizens are clearly defined.  Attend her announcement if you are able.

John McCain has been entrenched in Washington, D.C. since he was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, well over three decades ago. He will be 80 years old by Election Day and is running for another six-year term.

McCain’s polling numbers are abysmal. Townhall.com a leading conservative source reported that only 30% of Arizonans approve of the job McCain is doing to 54% who disapprove. There isn’t much variability in his numbers by party —- he’s at 35/55 with Republicans, 29/53 with Democrats, and 25/55 with registered Independents. Conservative Review gives both Arizona’s U.S. Senators an “F” rating. John McCain’s can be viewed here.  Senate Conservatives Fund urges Arizonans to Replace McCain, saying, “There are few Republicans who have betrayed our conservative principles more than John McCain.”

A senate campaign is a major undertaking, If ever there was a time to step up and put our money where our mouths are in order to send John McCain into retirement —- it’s now.

He doesn’t want to go.
