The Greek Interior Ministry is due to announce results of the bailout referendum at around 20:00 GMT in Athens on July 5. The people of Greece submitted their ‘yes’ or ‘no’ votes between 04:00 and 16:00 GMT. A ‘no’ vote would reject new austerity measures that are demanded by Greece’s creditors – the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Commission (EC) — while a ‘yes’ would accept the institutions’ conditions for a new Greek bailout package.
