Police say the borough resident and official shot the robbery suspect twice, and held him until police arrived.
Steele says, “There were a number if requests for the suspect to get on the ground. He did not comply with that and he was shot… He then got on the ground.”
The suspect was hit in the arm and wrist area and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
