The Polenar Tactical crew visited Grand Power, a Slovakia’s powerhouse pistol maker and got to lay hands on a couple of their unique K100 Whispers.
Grand Power, founded after that whole Communist bloc implosion thing, began making the K100 in 2002. The hammer-fired polymer framed 9mm with its 17 shot mag and PX4-ish rotating barrel lock has been imported to the U.S. in recent years as the STI GP6 pistol.
However, the examples tested by the PT gang are from Grand’s Whisper series with a threaded barrel and suppressor for those who like to keep things understated.
