  • There is an assumption, built-in, to her claim that factory farming is more economical, that resources were short, following the war.

    The care of feed animals, in the traditional sense, was not expensive.

    The govt would have offered enticements, to volunteers and businesses, which would have been expensive. Collectivism, in which the few support the many, is inherently expensive.
