TN: Man Shoots Robbery Suspect

According to police, at about 9 p.m., a man walked up to another man and tried to rob him. The robbery victim then pulled out a gun and shot the stranger. He then drove away to call 911 from another location. He said he left because he didn't feel safe staying at the store.
“If I had a gun and somebody had a gun, I'd have probably shot him too,” said Young.
At this point, police said they have not filed any charges as they continue to investigate whether this was a case of self defense.
