GARLAND, Texas — A Dallas man has died after police say he was shot attempting to burglarize a Garland home on Thursday, July 2, 2015
“Shortly before noon, a homeowner who lives in the 2600 block of Richland Drive was awakened to the sound of glass breaking in his living room,” stated Garland Police Department spokesperson Joe Harn in a press release. “The homeowner retrieved a pistol and found a male subject climbing through a broken window into his living room.”
