Ukraine. Why Gérard Depardieu found on the blacklist?

In early July, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has started to make a list of the world's cultural figures considered too close to the Russian government.
The goal is that we hear no more of them in the country, by establishing a prohibition on mentioning their names and disseminate their arts.
Youri Zubko, vice minister of the Ukrainian culture, explained that list was established based on people who “threaten national security according to the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine,” …. http://www.ouest-france.fr
