Video Shows Cops Attack Boy For Refusing To Give Name
A short video has surfaced showing unidentified officers attacking someone described only as a “kid” by posters on social media, for refusing to state his name.
The footage begins showing one officer ask the boy, who was apparently young enough to not have ID, “Whats your first name?”
“I’m not telling you,” the boy, who sounds like a teenager, responds.
“OK then, you’re going to get arrested for obstruction,” the officer says.
“For obstruction of what?” the boy asks.
“Obstructing my investigation,” the officer retorts.
“Give him your name,” another officer commands.
After the boy refuses again, the officers get physical by appearing to smack away his recording device and take him to the ground.
“Why are you punching him, why are you punching him?” a bystander can be heard asking the officers. “That’s not right. Don’t punch him”

The video was posted Saturday on twitter by an individual claiming to be the boys friend.
The boys age, where and when the incident took place, what police department was involved, and the surrounding circumstances are not yet known. This investigator has reached out to the original poster for more information but I have not yet received a response.
