Watch This Guy Build An Amazing Shelter In The Woods Using Only Dirt, Trees And Rocks (Video)
In our modern culture it’s rare to find many individuals with the knowledge to survive well should they find themselves lost in the woods or in need of survival skills. Perhaps this is because we think the chances we might ever need to use skills like this are low, or maybe we simply take our lifestyles for granted. Either way, I do find it interesting to see how many friends I have that don’t even know the first thing about building a fire out in the woods.
In the video below, a man builds an amazing shelter in the woods using only the resources you would find there. Dirt, trees, rocks, and anything else he could find in his immediate surroundings are used to build a home better than many of us might be able to build even if we had access to Home Depot!
Maybe this could be inspiration for us to make sure we learn even the basics like building a fire or hanging food in a tree to keep away from animals. After all, if the time were to come where some of our infrastructures went down or had issues and we needed the basic skills of finding food, water, and shelter, a little woodcraft knowledge could really come in handy.
If anything, just enjoy the sheer skill and creativity this human being has.

This dude has mad skills. He needs to be on one of those survivor shows. The only thing missing is some type of cover on top of the chimney to prevent rain from dousing the fire.

Used to do stuff like this all the time in the woods on the farm. Thats why when the sheeet hits the fans I know I will survive!! Will YOU????

Men BUILD STUFF. They are not like women and Negroes.
Obviously you don’t know any southern women born and raised in the country on farms.
You learn to do lots of things cause the men are not always around.
Sometimes they are gone hunting or fishing to feed the family.
Sometimes their are tilling the fields or gone to town for something.
Some country men even work a job outside of the farm for spending money.
If country women had to wait every time they wanted something done around the farm for a man to be round to do it for them, women living on a farm would be next to useless in an emergency.
An emergency that will always eventually happen when the men folk are not at home.
The fence is down the cattle are out … who do you think will get the cows back into the pasture and fix the fence if the men are not there?
The wind blows part of the roof off the barn in a rain storm, and it has to be fixed NOW to save the hay. The men are not there. Who do you think is going to fix it?
She goes hunting or fishing herself and gets caught out in the woods or on the lake how will she survive? Especially if she has the kids say … fishing with her?
So, some country women must learn how to do basic men chores just to survive.
And, we are not lazy or uneducated like a vast amount of Negro’s. And , don’t appreciated being heaped into the Negro pile by Pink Slime.
So, perhaps you should just back off, j@ck off, and re-evaluate.
So True Sarah. My ex and I are both hunters while I would skin and quarter the deer we killed, she would prepare the meat for the freezer and do all the grinding. Also while I would prepare a large garden and do most of the harvesting she would spend weeks canning and freezing. We both worked jobs and shared in our chores on our small farm. Her thyroid disease drove us apart.
