‘After the Procedure is Done the Heart is Still Beating’ -New Video of Abortion Industry Confirms Infants Born Alive, Then Killed

“So you know there are times when after the procedure is done that the heart is still beating.”
The words are from Ben Van Handel, the executive director of Novogenix Laboraties, which works with Planned Parenthood to take organs from the bodies of infants terminated through abortion and resell them.
The chilling confirmation that infants sometimes not only are delivered “intact” but alive came in the seventh video released by the Center for Medical Progress.
The organization created a fake company and sent undercover investigators into Planned Parenthood clinics to expose the harvesting and sale of infant body parts.
Previous videos have revealed a cold, calculating attitude on the part of several Planned Parenthood executives, including one who fretted about being “low-balled” for the products she would be able to provide, with her statement “I want a Lamborghini,” a $200,000-plus exotic car.
The newest video, the third in the organization’s “Human Capital” series, features eyewitness accounts of the births of live babies, whose demise then comes at the hands of procurement technicians who are assigned to reap the body parts desired by customers.
The video includes the testimony of Holly O’Donnell, a former blood and tissue procurement technician for StemExpress, a biotech company that until last week was partnered with Planned Parenthood to purchase parts of aborted fetuses and resell them.
O’Donnell describes the harvesting organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, California.
“‘Want to see something kind of cool?’” O’Donnell recalls her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”
CMP notes that state and federal laws stipulate an infant born alive after an abortion must be treated the same as a normally delivered baby.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, noted Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell did the same thing. He was convicted of killing born-alive infants and is now in prison.
“Planned Parenthood knew what was going on behind the closed doors of the ‘House of Horrors’ at Kermit Gosnell’s clinic in Philadelphia yet they never reported him – because they were doing the same thing in their facilities,” she said.
Hawkins said Gosnell’s abortion facility “was closed down and he sits in prison today for the murder of babies born after failed abortions, which is exactly where Planned Parenthood needs to be.”
“There is no reason, ever, for babies to be cut up, dismembered, and torn apart, which is precisely what Planned Parenthood is doing to preborn children. And in some cases, just like in Kermit Gosnell’s clinic, they are killed after being born alive,” she said.
“There are no words to describe the horror of what is happening at Planned Parenthood facilities across the country. They are doing things just as bad, or worse, than what Gosnell did – and taxpayers are sending over half a [billion dollars] to Planned Parenthood every year.
Hawkins said that while Planned Parenthood can claim that they are harvesting the body parts of aborted babies for research that may help save lives someday, they are dismembering babies with a beating heart to do so.
“Is that worth it? Hell no. Not only is it morally objectionable but it’s illegal,” she said. “Planned Parenthood abortionists and executives need to join Kermit Gosnell in his jail cell and every single facility should not only be defunded but shut down.”
