LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA — A police video showing a suspect in a stolen car case trying to eat his own fingerprints is going viral.
21-year-old Kenzo Roberts, was arrested on Thursday by Lee County Sheriff’s detectives while driving a 2015 Mercedes listed as stolen.
Police also found he was in the US illegally, and in possession of a fraudulent ID, a concealed firearm and three fraudulent credit cards.
After being arrested, a video released by police shows a desperate Roberts in the back of the patrol car, trying to get rid of his fingerprints by chewing them off and rubbing them against the cage.
Needless to say, Roberts didn’t manage to chew off his identity. A fingerprint scanner promptly identified him and showed two felony warrants for his arrest out of Broward County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
More charges were also discovered, such as possession of similitude of a driver’s license, driving while license suspended, and false identification given to law enforcement.
Roberts also had two previous warrants for his arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
