Get a trim and a new .45 at Texas barber shop/gun store

If you find yourself in Midland, Texas and in need of a quick trim while looking to expand your gun collection, check out the Western Barber Shop and Gun Store.
The local establishment in the West Texas oil town offers shaves and haircuts in the front and a small gun counter in the back. The gun store reportedly takes up under 50 square feet but includes a glass case for handguns and a rack for AR-15s and shotguns on the wall– which sounds like a good start.
Co-owner Chris Hodge says adding the licensed gun store to the already established barbershop, where his wife Jennifer cuts hair, made sense.
“It was one of my dreams to do it, and I had a couple of people that passed savings (for gun purchases) onto me, so I wanted to do the same thing,” said Hodge.
Hodge’s store isn’t a unique concept.
A quick search turns up Snipper Shoot, a “full service men’s barber shop and retail firearms store” in Grand Junction, Colorado; Wagner’s Barber Shop and Sporting Goods store in Greensburg, Indiana; and last but not least, Rick’s Gun Shop and Beauty Salon in Foley, Alabama.
Take that, Australia.
