In this segment of Guns in Canada, Adam and Ben discuss a few rifles available in Canada.
One such rifle is Colt Canada’s C7IUR-20 featuring the Integrated Upper Receiver. This is an extremely accurate firearm made to the highest specfications.
Ben describes his own personal AR-15 that he pieced together himself. Yes, it is possible to piece together an AR-15 in Canada, much like in the U.S.
In his AR he uses a Press Check Ventures .50 Beowolf magazine allowing him to legally surpass the five round magazine limit that exists in Canada.
Lastly, Adam tells us about the IWI Tavor which enjoys a non-restricted status in Canada. This means that anyone with a Possession and Acquisition Licence, or PAL, is allowed to walk into a gun store and purchase this rifle in a matter of minutes. A non-restricted firearm can be fired anywhere that is safe to shoot. This makes the Tavor a very popular rifle in Canada.
This is Part 2 of a 3 part series entitled Guns in Canada. Enjoy.
