Mel Shaw is one of the most courageous people I have ever known. It’s incredible that just a few weeks after her terrible ordeal, she has bounced back and is parachuting (for the first time, and despite a feat of heights!) to raise funds for the Brux Trust, which she has set up to help victims of institutionalized child abuse. She deserves the award for Woman of the Year – 2015!
