21st Century Wire says…

Are aliens our only hope for peace?

Watch a video of this report here:

Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon back in 1971, has said that aliens visited Earth during the Cold War to prevent the outbreak of nuclear war.

Mitchell stated spoke of atomic weapon testing ground White Sands, stating ‘that’s what the extra-terrestrials were interested in. They wanted to know about our military capabilities’.

He believed the aliens were ‘attempting to keep us from going to war’, and came to ‘help create peace on Earth’.

Speaking of Air Force officers who operated missile silos during the Cola War, Mitchell said ‘UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles’, and that ‘missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft’.

Dr. Mitchell is also an avid believer in the world-famous Roswell Incident, saying that ‘the best course of action was to just lie about it, and keep it to themselves. They labeled it ‘above top-secret’, and that created the long running iron curtain separating a secret group within the government, and the American public’.

He accuses a ‘cabal of insiders‘ as being gatekeepers to information regarding the existence of both alien life and alien technology.

NASA commented saying, ‘Dr. Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue’.

Some Ufologists believe they just found an alien mothership in a NASA photograph and a 10,000 year old megalith recently discovered deep undersea in the Mediterranean may be evidence of ancient alien intervention.

While interesting, the claims are certainly far-out there and can be seen to almost diminish the immense human effort that went into keeping the Cold War as cool as possible.

How can we move to create a more peaceful world, do we really need to wait for omniscient extraterrestrial intervention?

Humanity should try and show some more humanity.

‘Aliens prevented nuclear war on Earth’: Former NASA astronaut makes unexpected claim

RT

Aliens came to Earth to stop a nuclear war between the US and the Soviet Union at the start of the Cold War, according to the sixth man to walk the surface of the moon.

Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut on the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, says peace-loving aliens visited our planet during weapons tests at US missile bases and the famous White Sands Proving Ground in the New Mexico desert – where the world’s first nuclear bomb was detonated in 1945.

“White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons – and that’s what the extra-terrestrials were interested in,” the 84-year-old told Mirror Online. “They wanted to know about our military capabilities.”
