I wanted to respond to the head of the Police Association here. You represent killers. You represent people who go through the community, and as the article says, ” police are taking their salaries from our tax dollars, without asking.” In spite of this, they terrorize communities. They create the resentment from the people who mentally beat them down and then they want sympathy? Look between shit and syphilis in the dictionary, there’s your sympathy!
Many residents in Dallas, Texas have noticed police just aren’t responding to the scene of crimes very quickly anymore. The old saying about “there’s never a cop around when you need one” has rung true for some time, but now, locals are saying the response times are just getting ridiculous.
The head of the Dallas Police Association has an explanation for these delays. He tells local CBS 11 News they are due to officers “being mentally beaten down” by citizens.
“The bottom line is response times are up, violent crime is up, and officers are fed up,” Ron Pinkston, president of the Dallas Police Association, said.
He added that officers are “moving slower” because they are “afraid of violating department policies.”
In other words, Pinkston is blaming police accountability for brutality and murder for officers simply not doing their jobs.
“The motivation is a little lacking,” he added. “I think it’s just the fear of doing the right thing and that they are going to get disciplined for doing that.”
“The only way we are going to get this response times to turn around is get a different management style or get a different manager,” Pinkston continued.
“When they see criminal suspects that look suspicious, they are not going to engage those suspects from fear that nobody’s going to support them,” Pinkston concluded.
In other words, the police are taking their salaries from our tax dollars, without asking. Then they have decided to brutalize us, even though their actions are demonstrably criminal. Then, when we film them and hold them accountable for these crimes, they lament that they just can’t do their jobs at all now… But they are still cashing those paychecks, aren’t they?
