(The Real Agenda) Obama’s destructive legacy would not be complete without a plan to further erode the little industry left in the United States through regulations intended to ‘combat global warming’.
The US president, Barack Obama, unveiled on Monday his final plan to allegedly reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which is considered by blind environmentalists as the main cause of nonexistent global warming.
This is the first time that an American president imposes limits on emissions from power plants in the country, so Obama can turn his fight against the United States by misleading the public into believing that it is possible for a politician to regulate environmental phenomena.
“Climate change is no longer a problem for future generations,” said the president in a video posted on Facebook. In it, Obama described his plan as “the most important step that has taken in the US in the fight against global warming.”
Obama believes that policies that limit industrial production is the solution to end climate change. This statement alone tells how much Obama understands environmental issues and how little his proposals have to do with environmentalism.
According to Obama and the fake environmentalist movement, US power plants are responsible for a third of all carbon dioxide emissions and other greenhouse gases in the country, which they blame for naturally occurring phenomena that take place over decades, centuries and millenia.
The package, signed today at the White House by the director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Gina McCarthy, goes beyond the approach announced last year by Obama and seeks both reducing what it calls toxic emissions and the adoption of renewable energy on a larger scale.
The blatant failure of so-called renewable energy sources, the corruption revealed with companies like Solyndra earlier in his administration and the total failure of the same type of policies in Europe did not stop Obama from continuing to push for government regulation.
The most ambitious goal of the plan involves the reduction of emissions from power plants by 32% in 2030 compared to 2005 levels, even though the draft had set the limit at 30%.
According to government sources consulted by US media, the EPA will also require the use of more renewable energy such as solar or wind, the same two sources that have proven to be both inefficient and insufficient to provide any medium size city with enough energy to function properly.
The Obama Administration has eliminated the possibility of a transition period for power plants using natural gas resources, considered cleaner. Instead, Obama wants to speed up the process and will mandate a direct jump to so-called renewable sources.
Obama’s proposal marks the culmination of his public commitment fight against global warming, one of the political lines of his presidency. In his first term, when this type of policies was not politically beneficial for Obama, his administration overshadowed any action on environmental issues with so-called health care reform.
The White House published a report in which it says that:
On Monday, President Obama will release the final version of America’s Clean Power Plan, The Biggest, Most Important step we’ve ever taken to combat climate change. If you agree we cannot to condemn our kids and grandkids to a planet that’s beyond fixing, share this video with your friends and family. It’s time to #ActOnClimate.
The White House has relied on flawed and many times rigged scientific data to justify its latest proposals. The latest forecasts from ‘cooked’ data unsurprisingly point to serious consequences if global temperatures rise an average of two degrees. Obama has not looked at the data from the last 20 years which shows that there has been no warming whatsoever.
More than a dozen states have already refused to implement Obama’s plan. Conservatives pointed to the serious consequences attributed to Obama’s plan as the complete closure of power plants, loss of jobs and lack of real alternatives to power the country.
The Administration has said that the total cost of adopting the new measures will be of about $8.8 billion annually until 2030, yet, the White House has not factored in the real figures that still need to be provided by the States. The Obama administration has guesstimated the cost by low-balling a number just as it happened with Obamacare, whose costs are much higher than first announced by Obama.
Obama says in its initial presentation that the plan has “heard” the voices that spoke out against the plan, which has been extended by two years from the deadline to cut emissions until 2022.
The White House cuts set specific goals for each state and then they must design a plan to achieve them and present it before 2018.
Obama’s plan also envisages strengthening the system known as ‘cap and trade’ which intends to facilitate environmental pollution by allowing corporations, many of which are Obama donors, to purchase carbon credits to pollute at will.
The system also seeks to limit State emissions by mandating that they purchase licenses from carbon markets, which are controlled by people like Al Gore and Bill Gates, to be able to carry on with their industrial activity. The new measures also added the option to receive compensation via tax cuts beginning in 2020.
Republican legislators and governors who oppose this regulation have already expressed their intention to refuse to take their deposits, which they consider an invasion of federal power in the activity of States, as well as an offense in court. The strategy is similar to that taken against Obamacare.
