One of the sweetest rimfire target revolvers out there is the Smith 617, and 22Plinkster got his hands on one for an extended review.
Sure, the K-frame has been S&Ws go-to design for medium framed double action revolvers since Germany had a Kaiser, but those are mostly 38/357 wheelguns. That’s where the super sweet 10 shot Model 617 pops up for those wanting to get the most out of a tub o lead-heads.
And Plinkster gets his trigger time in on this one.
Props for showing some love to the quiet pipsqueak loads like CBs and Colibris too.
