(Before It's News)

Douglas Williams administered thousands of polygraph tests for the Oklahoma City police department from 1972 to 1979. Douglas says polygraphs are not a test but are an intense investigation, the only role the polygraph plays is to try and intimidate a person into a confession or an admission. There is no such thing as a lying reaction and the polygraph doesn’t record truth or deception, it records nervousness.

Douglas says anyone can pass a polygraph at any time, all one has to do is create the physiological response to fear at the appropriate times. Williams compares the polygraph accuracy to flipping a coin, he gives an example by saying if you flip a coin and it’s heads you’re lying, if it’s tails you’re telling the truth. That is the same degree of accuracy as the polygraph test. For 35 years Douglas Williams has been telling about the ineffectiveness of the polygraph test.
