Securities lawyer and market analyst Avery Goodman reports today that Goldman Sachs and HSBC continue to buy gold in metal form for their own accounts, and he construes the scheduled implementation of the “Volcker Rule” in July 2017 to mean that bullion bank attacks on the gold market through naked shorting will much diminish then.
