(Before It's News)

In the United States, citizens have begun to film the police and their activities with abandon.  In turn, the police have begun to wear body cams in order to capture what they see.  In Spain, a new “gagging law,” as the opposition calls it, has been enacted.  It’s officially titled the “Citizens Security Law.”

Check out how “secure” this law makes the citizens who dare to post ILLEGAL police activity to their own Facebook pages.

  • do as we say, not as we do!

  • Cops are trained to use batons…sure it looks horrific, though it is non-lethal force.

I was trained to truthfully testify about the degree of physical force I used when arresting a non-compliant individual. Several times I told a judge or jury I struck the defendant with a radio or the butt of my service revolver as hard as I could for the purpose of inflicting pain and gaining compliance. Police work is not always fun or pretty.

As for cops arresting citizens lawfully recording in public without interfering with police operations or investigations, these cops need a solid spanking, forfeiting 30 days pay in addition to being placed on administrative probation.

It twists my nutz every time I see a recording of an officer clearly violating my peaceful American neighbor’s lawful right to record in a public place…and worse, arresting my neighbor out of anger and arrogance, without lawful justification.
