Detroit man shot after exposing himself to children (VIDEO)
A man accused of exposing himself to young children is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest, while the man responsible for shooting him awaits charges after turning himself in.
The confrontation occurred Friday night after a woman, who only wanted to be identified as India, received a phone call from her neighbor saying that India’s brother was in front of the home exposing himself to three small children, including India’s 3-year-old son, and letting them touch his butt.
India and her fiance rushed home to confront the man and the situation quickly escalated.
“He just kept saying he was sorry, he was just playing around, he didn’t know, he’s sorry. He apologized and that was it,” India said.
But her fiance, who didn’t find the act very amusing, grabbed a gun and shot the man in the chest.
The man was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. It’s unknown at this time what, if any, charges he will face.
