European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker has called for solidarity from the EU’s 28 member states in responding to Europe’s worst migration crisis since the Second World War.
In a speech to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, Mr Juncker said: “It is not time to take fright, it is time for humanity and human dignity.”
Urging all EU states to take their fair share of refugees fleeing war, he said: “I really hope that this time everyone will be on board.” …. http://www.express.co.uk
