European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini slammed a member of the European Parliament for Hungary, Krisztina Morvai during the plenary session on the Israel-Palestine conflict, in Strasbourg, Wednesday. MEP Krisztina Morvai attacked Mogherini with a flow of questions regarding the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). Morvai asked what kind of efforts the European Union had made so far in order to identify states, that financially aid IS or “companies who obviously commit crimes under international law.” And what kind of “efforts had the European Union made in order to bring them to justice.” The Hungarian MEP finished by saying that these are questions, which “have to be answered in order not to see more shocking pictures about dying Syrian children in the sea.”
